Utility Billing and Customer Service Offices

Our office is located at 333 N 2nd St., Ste 101 Niles, MI 49120, with two convenient drive-thru lanes on the east side.  The lobby is also open on the first floor for our customers' convenience.    

Office hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Fridays, excluding holidays. Please note that our lobby is closed from 12:00pm-1:00pm for lunch, but the drive-thru remains open during this time.

Make a Utility Payment in Person

During office hours, please visit our first-floor lobby or drive-thru.

We have a drop box available for after-hours use as well, also on the building's east side.  We accept cash, check, money order or credit and debit cards.  Please note that credit, debit, and e-check payments have a flat fee of $3.95 per maximum $500 transaction. Multiple transactions can be made.  For your safety, please do not deposit envelopes containing cash in the night drop box.

To Make a Utility Payment by Phone or Online 

You can pay your utility bill online using the following options:

  • Credit & Debit Cards- American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa.
  • Digital Wallets- PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
  • ACH and e-Check.

All electronic utility bill payments made through our service provider Paymentus will have a flat fee of $3.95 per maximum $500 transaction. Multiple transactions can be made.

PLEASE BE AWARE!!  Customers using an on-line payment service NOT affiliated with the City should know that payments may not be received by the City prior to the due date, or in time to avoid shut-off of service for non-payment.  Due to this, the City recommends using the link below to make an online payment directly through our service provider, Paymentus.  This will ensure your payment is received timely.
